RACE-ONLY PRODUCTS ARE MANUFACTURED AND SOLD FOR INSTALLATION ON VEHICLES DESIGNED TO BE USED SOLELY FOR COMPETITION PURPOSES. ONCE THESE PARTS ARE INSTALLED, THE VEHICLE MAY NEVER BE USED, OR REGISTERED OR LICENSED FOR USE, ON A PUBLIC ROAD OR HIGHWAY. IF YOU INSTALL A RACE-ONLY PART ON YOUR VEHICLE AND USE THE VEHICLE ON A PUBLIC ROAD OR HIGHWAY, YOU WILL VIOLATE THE CLEAN AIR ACT AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO PERSONAL CIVIL OR CRIMINAL LIABILITY, INCLUDING FINES OF UP TO $5,179 PER DAY.

Clean Air Act § 203(a)(3), 42 U.S.C. § 7522(a)(3) Enumerated Prohibitions 

The following acts and the causing thereof are prohibited – 

(A) for any person to remove or render inoperative any device or element of design installed on or in a motor vehicle or motor vehicle engine in compliance with regulations under this subchapter prior to its sale and delivery to the ultimate purchaser, or for any person knowingly to remove or render inoperative any such device or element of design after such sale and delivery to the ultimate purchaser; or 

(B) for any person to manufacture or sell, or offer to sell, or install, any part or component intended for use with, or as part of, any motor vehicle or motor vehicle engine, where a principal effect of the part or component is to bypass, defeat, or render inoperative any device or element of design installed on or in a motor vehicle or motor vehicle engine in compliance with regulations under this subchapter, and where the person knows or should know that such part or component is being offered for sale or installed for such use or put to such use.

IF A RACE-ONLY PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED IN ERROR, DO NOT INSTALL AND/OR USE IT. THE PURCHASER MUST ARRANGE TO RETURN THE PRODUCT FOR A FULL REFUND.

TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM FROM REAL STREET PERFORMANCE YOU MUST READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AND YOU MUST PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION REQUESTED BY REAL STREET PERFORMANCE PRIOR TO PURCHASE.

  1. I understand that it is illegal to install an aftermarket part that is intended for use with, or as part of, a required motor vehicle pollution control device or system that alters or modifies the original design or performance of the motor vehicle pollution control device or system unless the vehicle on which the part is installed is designed for use only as a competition vehicle. A competition vehicle may never be used, or registered or licensed for use, on a public road or highway.
  2. I understand that this product or these products are designed only for, and intended for use only with, competition vehicles. I certify that the part will be installed only on the vehicle described above. I certify that the vehicle is a competition vehicle and that the vehicle is not registered or licensed for use on a public road or highway.
  3. I understand that installing this product or these products on a vehicle registered or licensed for use on a public road or highway may constitute a violation of the Clean Air Act. I understand that such a violation may subject me to personal civil or criminal liability, including fines of up to $5,179 per day.
  4. I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IN THE UNITED STATES THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (“EPA”) HAS STATED THAT IT HAS REGULATORY AUTHORITY OVER THE USE OF RACE-ONLY PRODUCTS UNDER THE CLEAN AIR ACT, AND AGREE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EPA’S RULES AND REGULATIONS, THAT USE OF RACE-ONLY PRODUCTS BY VEHICLES BEING DRIVEN ON U.S. PUBLIC ROADS, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. I ALSO UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT CALIFORNIA LAWS, CALIFORNIA AIR RESOURCES BOARD REGULATIONS, AND THE LAWS OF OTHER U.S. STATES AND COUNTRIES IMPOSE DIFFERENT OR ADDITIONAL PROHIBITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS THAT MAY APPLY TO AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS.
